Course Overview

Critical bleeding remains a major cause of potentially preventable deaths. Even though the treatment paradigms have changed considerably during the last few years with the availability of NOAC, further understanding is required to manage Coagulopathy and bleeding associated with Vit K antagonist and NOAC.

There has been increasing awareness and concern about TRALI associated with blood and blood component therapy for bleeding leading to increased morbidity.


Alternate therapy to blood component therapy [FFP] i.e. Prothrombin complex Concentrate [PCC] is replacing FFP worldwide.

This conference focuses on the management of major bleeding and coagulopathy following trauma and encourages adaptation of the guiding principles to manage an acutely bleeding patient.

The course, also is suitable for physicians planning to take Fellowship/DNB/FNB examinations. Experienced speakers will provide lectures with emphasis on clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic and epidemiological aspects with focus on infection control.
